I took a road trip with a friend this weekend. We met at another friend's house in Las Vegas as a reunion for the group I went to Romania with. The mountains were beautiful on the way up (as was the weather the whole time we were there *sigh*). On Sunday we had the opportunity to sit in on the liturgy at an Orthodox church, which is the primary religion in Romania. I love the art and architecture. It made me miss Romania so much.
Ah, the memories. What a refreshing weekend.

amen.
:)
hope you had a lovely time!!
God bless.
I hope it helped revive your spirits.
I miss our dear Romania too. I watched some vampire movies this weekend. And a few (very few) had people with Romanian accents. *sigh* Even a fake accent can get the home-sick juices flowing. lol.
Those photos of the mountains are beautiful!
I'm glad you had a great time.
Jaedin's dying to type something:

Preetika - yes, it was lovely. God bless you, too.
BFK - It was refreshing, but my spirits weren't terribly down in the first place. I hope my last post didn't sound depressed. There are some interesting situations to deal with, but they aren't crushing my spirits.
BigRed - hmm. I don't really connect vampires with Romania, even after visiting Transylvania. Maybe if I heard the fake accents...
FeatherSky - tell Jaedin I said wertu8i.,mvcx. :)
Brock - nice moustache. It's such an interesting experience to visit sacred places of different religions. There's a Hindu Hare Krishna temple a few cities away, and I'm still kicking myself for not visiting while I still had a car.
