Well, folks, I've made a big decision recently. I took a job offer at a company that makes gift cards for small businesses. It's a big decision because they're expecting me to stay on for a year or two... which means I'm staying put in Utah for the time being... which means DC and Tennessee are out of the picture for the time being... and Romania, too (at least I'm guessing they won't let me take 4 months off...).
I'm really liking the company so far. I help with the graphic design and will help with marketing a bit, too. Oh, and I take over for the receptionist on lunch break. My co-workers are kind and spunky. These next few weeks should be interesting, as there is a huge rivalry at work between BYU fans and U of U fans (there are about 5 BYU fans - including the company owner/CEO - and about 20 U of U fans). One co-worker proudly showed me a cell-phone picture he took last year after painting the boss's parking stall red with white U's. Well-intentioned light-hearted fun. I think they expect me to join in on it... I just don't have the heart to tell them I couldn't care less about football... (well, I probably could... but it's hard to imagine...).
I hope I made the right decision. It's hard to tell at this point. Most of the time I just know. Right now it's a little foggy.

TOTALLY wrong decision. You were supposed to come to Tennessee ;)
Nah, I think it sounds great! I hope you learn all the graphic design stuff you are hoping to learn. And make so much money that you come and visit often :)
Best of luck!
How does it feel?! It sounds like a lot of fun actually, and I'm sure as time goes on you'll feel like you did the right thing. Congrats and noroc bun!
Well, if you're learning new skills and having fun then I think it's a good decision. Just a reminder, but sometimes there are many right decisions. I think you just picked one of many.

Sounds like a good decision to me. I've had 12 jobs in the last five years, and I'm currently looking for a new one, so I know how it feels to be unsure about a new job. Good luck. Tennessee is always an option.
