Job hunting...

When I arrived in Tennessee, I gave myself a week off before looking for work. A small vacation, I thought. Well, the vacation continues 2 months later. At first I started looking for jobs in graphic design, but quickly learned that I'm grossly unqualified. I haven't even heard of some of the programs required for some positions. I've been applying for receptionist/admin assistant jobs left and right, but to no avail. Finally this week I applied for a traveling maid job. With 7 years of janitorial experience and the ability to speak Spanish, I figured I'd be a natural choice. Nope, didn't get that one either. Seriously, people! What does it take to get employed in this state?!

On the other hand, not having a job has given me the freedom to travel with the fam, and to watch the kids when Timber's been away helping with youth camps. I've gotten to read a lot. And spraypaint my desk...
