I'm the third of four kids and graduated with a degree in international development. I've been to Ecuador and Romania on orphan support missions and hope to go to Uganda or Mexico within the next few years on similar endeavors. I did a field study in Guatemala and may someday finish my writeup to the point of publication. My favorite color is periwinkle, and I wear argyle socks with everything. I love to bounce ideas off of people. Please, let me pick your brain. Comments are encouraged.
I was so excited to find out this was online! This is my friend performing at a local variety show ("variety" because we didn't want the pressure of calling it "talent"...)

Mmmm, memories. That was a hilarious variety act! You know what, we need to get our Oscar vids on youtube. That would be incredible! Oh hey, when you have a minute, could you email me your address?
bigred - yeah, oscars on the web would be fun. except they never seem to be as fun for people not directly connected to them. did you say you have a copy of 'scooby clue' from long ago?
quietelk - he's dating my neighbor. i know, what a shame. i wasn't in this particular variety show, but last year i lip synched "i'm being eaten by a boa constrictor." fun shtuff. what would you do if you were gonna be in a variety show?
I would either do the Muppets rhyming song or a number called Bulbous Bouffant. The BB was on a cd we had at work a few years ago and we memorized it and went on the road and made it big...well, we memorized it and did it at two ward talent shows then retired it in glory.
And if you like the Boa Constrictor, I think you might like the Smothers Brothers. They've got some good ones. I grew up on PP&M and the Smo Bros, so I guess I always connect them, though they're really different. Try the Streets of Laredo...I remember that one being funny.
The Tatoo Song is my all-time fave, but Streets of Laredo is great, too. "Mom Always Liked You Best" is probably my favorite album of theirs. I love that you know them!

Wow, He has a great mind. Sensitive too. Is he married? You should ask him out.
What did you do for the variety show?
