Just can't get enough...

I don't have a whole lot to say, but my sister keeps telling me I need to post more 'cuz she gets bored :). So here's another list:

Music Fixes - Artists I just couldn't get enough of for a while...

Mariah Carey - her Music Box album was awesome! It was the first music I ever bought for myself at a regular retail store (as opposed to a second-hand store). Then she got divorced and turned all wacko, and I haven't listened to her since.
Garth Brooks - I borrowed my brother's The Hits tape while he was on his mission. That was my country phase, I suppose.
Hootie and the Blowfish - also a tape (Cracked Rear View). I think my brother bought it for me for Christmas. And helped me put it back together when, as an angsty tweener, I broke down in tears when it got smashed.
Sarah McLachlan - I've got most of her CD's. I bought "Afterglow" a little while after it came out, and I listened to the song "Stupid" about 20 times in a row one night after a tragic heartbreak.
Jack Johnson - I like that his songs are often about social issues rather than campy love. I felt a little betrayed when he did the soundtrack for Curious George - kind of like he'd sold out.
Rob Thomas - I have such a crush on him! What a voice! Not like his songs are deep or inspiring, but I like to sing along.
Joshua James - charmingly raspy voice and sings out on social issues. His music speaks to me on a lot of levels.

How about you? Any artists you've been fixed to?

I don't really have any favorite CD's bucause I don't own any CD's. I guess I do own a couple really old ones...somewhere. Far too much effort to find them though. I like a lot of Sarah McLachlan music. If I'm in the mood I love Sarah Brightman. In the summer I can listen to Hoedown from Rodeo by Aaron Copeland over and over (although all of Rodeo is awesome). Hmm...I guess it all depends on the mood I'm in!
