Mondegreen (misheard lyrics) Revisited!

Thanks to bigred and my sis for their awesome contributions:

Buddy Holly - Weezer
Heard..."Watchn' all our doors, and I know you're mine..."
Actual lyrics..."But you now I'm yours, and I know you're mine.."

My Name is Jonas - Weezer
Heard... "just like marmalade when you couldn't find some leave. Things were better then, words were never again, we've all left the den and the tight bayar..."
Actual lyrics... "just like Grandma made when we couldn't find some sleep. Things were better then, once, but never again, we've all left the den, let me tell you 'bout it..."

Save Me - Unwritten Law
Heard... " you can't save me, you can't change me. Well, I'm waitn' for my wicker park..."
Actual lyrics... "you can't save me, you can't change me. Well, I'm waitn' for my wake up call..."
(Have you seen the movie Wicker Park? It came out way after this song, but the song and the movie don't have anything to do with each other. Now I know why)

Cailin - Unwritten Law
Heard... "Well I know I'm not always right, and girls it breaks my heart when I don't have to see you cry..."
Actual lyrics... ""Well I know I'm not always right, and girls it breaks my heart when when I have to see you cry..."
(I don't know where I get the extra word in that sentence from, but I swear it is there...)

Loser - Beck (This song is just full of stuff I heard completely wrong, but here are a few)
Heard... "Soen keeps sayn' I'm insane to complain about ...."
Actual lyrics... " Some one came sayn' I'm insane to complain about..."
Heard... "Soy ooooh cantador..."
Actual lyrics... "Soy un perdedor..."

Invisible Touch - Phil Collins
Heard... "She seems to have an invisible Tuff Shed"
Actual lyrics... "She seems to have an invisible touch, yeah!"

Stay Alive - Bachman-Turner Overdrive (I think)
Heard... "Stay online..."
Actual lyrics... "Stay alive..."

Wherever You Will Go - the Calling
Heard... "I'll go unravel you in gold..."
Actual lyrics... "I'll go wherever you will go..."

funny. i sing the wrong lyrics all the time and john is always cracking up at all my mistakes.

let me know how your enrichment dutch oven thing goes. i am the enrichment leader in my ward and we are planning a dutch over progressive dinner in august. i'd love to hear your ideas.

and this: you are such a great example to me. really, i mean that. reading your previous post just re-affirmed how great you are in my mind.

ls - the dutch oven activity went well. we did chicken/stuffing casserole, cheesy potatoes with bacon, and peach cobbler. Nothing out of the ordinary. Although I have a couple of friends who successfully cooked cornish game hens in a dutch oven a year or two ago. That would be a little expensive to do for a whole ward, though :).

you rock my socks, and i admire you fiercely. it's good to know we're in the mutual admiration society, eh? :)

oh, and there are a few people with your maiden name in my current ward. do you have relatives down my direction (north of you)?

I got one for you. Secondhand Serenade is the group. Fall For You is the song. My sister was confused when she heard a line repeated in the song that sounded like "because a girl IQ is impossible to find." Strange line for a love song, don't you think? The song made more sense when she found out that the real line is "because a girl LIKE YOU is impossible to find. :)
