I haven't seen my sister in over a year and a half. Tomorrow a long-awaited reunion will come to fruition. She's been living a relatively monastic life in relative poverty as a missionary in Mongolia. Knowing that, you may be thinking to yourself, "Wow, what's she gonna do now?" I'll tell you what she's gonna do now - head straight from the airport to Joe's Crab Shack. I guess that makes sense after 18 months of cold sheep head, fermented mare's milk and other assorted animal products. She was basically a vegetarian before she left, and it was a real challenge to adjust to the eating habits of a nation that typically devotes between 0.4% and 1.5% of its agriculture to growing vegetables. Ease your way back into salads, lil' sis.
I'm so proud of her for the life she's chosen to live, and now that the missionary chapter is closing and a new one is opening... well, let's just say I'm trying not to wet my pants with anticipation to see where it leads. I'll see her in 14 hours...

Give her a big hug from us!!
Congrats to your sister!! Mongolia... I thought Romania was way different, but I bet Mongolia takes the cake. I wonder if there's a word for anti-vegetarian, someone who only eats meat. If I had to pick between the two I'd be a vegetarian. This says a lot because I "hate" vegetarians. Your sister's body probably does need to ease back into vegetables and roughage.
And thanks for coming to Hot Tub Club last night Bob!
FS - will do!
Big Red - wouldn't one who eats only meat be a carnivore? Why do you hate vegetarians?
Broketruviquenago - Yeah, she's freakin' awesome. And it'll do your heart good to know I've been able contain myself.
