I'm the third of four kids and graduated with a degree in international development. I've been to Ecuador and Romania on orphan support missions and hope to go to Uganda or Mexico within the next few years on similar endeavors. I did a field study in Guatemala and may someday finish my writeup to the point of publication. My favorite color is periwinkle, and I wear argyle socks with everything. I love to bounce ideas off of people. Please, let me pick your brain. Comments are encouraged.
Several poinsettias were about to be tossed out at work today, so I rescued them for my compost pile (see link for Square-Foot Gardening). Couldn't just let a photo opportunity like this pass me by...
That's awesome!!!! It's great commentary on your personality, and hey, square foot gardening is awesome. I love the altering colors of the poinsettias in the picture. Don't know if you did that on purpose or not, but it works nicely.
I am fairly familiar with it. The guy who engineered it came out to Hawaii to teach the community about it. Also, I'm a member of SIFE, and the SIFE team out here has done a lot of work with SGF.

It's a darn shame, throwin' a purdy girl like that into a compost heap.

Preetika, thanks for your comment. You made my day, too.
Feather Sky - Silly lizard, you don't compost Bob!
Brock - aw, heck! I might as well send it out with this year's Christmas letter. I figure I still have time - it's not Valentine's Day yet...
Mandie, thanks! Are you familiar with SFG?
