This weekend my friend Scott and I threw a party to commemorate the decade of our early childhood... ah, the illustrious 80's...

This is the Rubiks Cube cake
A few party-goers
Scrunchies, leg warmers, side ponies... Twister, PacMan, and "Labrynth"... Pop Rocks, Kool-Aid, and Combos... J. Geils Band, USA for Africa's "We Are the World", and Kylie Minogue before her techno days (all on original vinyl singles)... it doesn't get much better than this.

I will agree totally with that! We threw a great party! Gnarly! All the world look on and be envious!

Suuuurrrrrrre, 80's party...haha We all know you normally dress like that ;)
You mean those things aren't still "in"?
Hehe... I try to suppress those days, and those people who choose to currently dress that way. ;) j/k That looks and sounds like it was a blast.
What a blast!
I have a theory. People don't like the decade they were born in. They like the next decade. Hence those of you born in the 80s like the 90s, etc. Can anyone back me up?
Scott - I like the mid-sixties to mid-seventies. How do you explain that one?
FeatherSky - sssshhhhhhhh!
BFK - c'mon, I know you got rid of your leg warmers last year.
Mandie - I shun those who dress that way today, too. ;)
Mona - yes, indeed.
Ah the eighties...
I remember PacMan, the Clash and then all of a sudden grunge was in, pink hair dye from Manic Panic was out.
