21. I pierced my lip once.
22. It was an accident.
23. It involved playing chicken with a 4-wheeler while I was barreling down a mountain side on an over-inflated tire tube.
24. Over all, I’d say the 4-wheeler won.
25. I’m a pack rat
26. Until very recently, I had a bag filled with every note I’ve been passed in school since grade school.
27. In junior high I had a teacher who noticed I only wrote notes before or after class. He praised me and gave me a special notebook to keep up the good work.
28. I can’t think of the last time I hit the snooze button fewer than 4 times.
29. It’s a good thing my roommate gets up before I do.
30. We say “I love you” a lot in my family

I pierced my eyebrow once in high school. It was mostly just for the shock factor of my friends seeing me with a safety pin through it. It didn't last long.
I STILL have every note ever passed to me since like 6th grade!! I keep thinking i'm going to throw them away...but just can't bring myself to do it!!
And---I LOVE YOU!!!!! :)
Mighty Bob, this is awesome that you're willing to share these thigns about yourself with your readers. It's cool and proves how human and multi-faceted you are.
FeatherSky - I bet you looked pretty cool with that safety pin. Maybe you should impress N one of these days and try it again ;)
I have to admit, I didn't get rid of all of those notes. I kept several, thinking I'll scrap book them one of these days... and aw, shucks. I love you, too.
Mandie - Thanks! I think it's dehumanizing to be seen only in limited aspects, be they negative or positive. I dated someone once who put me on a proverbial pedestal. While it was flattering, there was a vital element of reality missing from the relationship.
Thanks, Brock. Don't be a stranger.
I used to be so freaked out about needles too...
I know this is probably too much info...but, I'll share anyway..
I had three miscarriages, and they wanted to take blood like several times a week for testing the hormone levels each time it happened...and, ever since then, I haven't been scared anymore...I guess it became routine, and I didn't worry over it anymore. I still get nervous when I have to get blood drawn, but not as bad as I once was.
So, it made me a stronger person, and more thankful for the children that I have. :)
I've had several friends who've had miscarriages, including family. How painful. I'm glad you were able to draw strength from the ordeal. I guess sometimes it takes big things to help us get over the small stuff.
I'm still stuck in my youthful illusion of immortality, I suppose. Now I think it would kill me to become diabetic and have to poke myself daily. If it ever happened, though, I might find it's not that bad to survive.
Have a great day, Heatherpink.
Thanks mightybob. I know it might sound crazy, but looking back, I am glad that it happened. I think that if I didn't miscarry those times, I wouldn't be as thankful for what I have, all the blessings that God has given me.
