31-40

31. Every Christmas Eve my family has a ‘Jerusalem Supper’ where we eat fish and cheese on unleavened bread, dates, figs, and drink grape juice. When we were younger, we’d wear bath robes and fasten towels to our heads with rubber bands and pretend we were living at the time of Christ.

32. My sister and I put masking tape on the floor once to delineate which side of our shared bedroom belonged to whom.

33. As a child, I always sincerely believed I’d be a child prodigy at something

34. I tried going vegetarian once because I heard about steroids and other chemicals used in meat production, but I turned anemic so I had to go back to being an omnivore.

35. Growing up, I secretly wished my name were longer and more complex so people would have to ask me how to say it.

36. I used to think my brothers were really weird ‘cuz they choose bizarre names for their sons. Then I realized I want to name one of my sons ‘Mordecai’ (‘Morrie’ for short) and a daughter ‘Nadezhda’ (‘Dezh’ for short) (it’s Russian for ‘hope’). My brothers don’t seem quite as weird anymore…

37. I need a full 8 hours of sleep per night.

38. I very rarely go to bed before 1 a.m.

39. I wore scrubs to school every day of final exams last semester

40. Despite popular rumors, I have nothing to do with the nursing program, nor with anything medical in nature (see #3)

BigRed - aw, shucks! We're all really flattering Feather Sky, then. She started it. Brilliant gal, she is.

Brock - That's awesome you celebrate Passover sometimes. We've just started doing that in the past 3 years. We prepare the closest things we can to what's on the seder plate and discuss the symbolism. I love it.

I don't fall asleep in class on <8 hours, but I do fall asleep doing homework, and I get grumpy and super forgetful.

Dag-nabbit, Brock. You've figured me out. I wasn't going to mention it until #87, but yes - I have klepto tendencies. I kifed the scrubs. And one of the llamas. Just kidding. The scrubs were the uniform I had to wear to the orphanage in Romania. They're SO comfy. I highly recommend them to anyone.
